DANZ, Dance Aotearoa New Zealand, is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy notice applies to personal information collected by DANZ, what we do with this information and your rights to view, correct or change it.

• Personal information is provided by you when you join DANZ or register for DANZ services
• Providing this information will always be optional for you, however some DANZ services may not be available if you choose to withhold it
• Your details are stored securely at our National office and can only be accessed by DANZ staff
• We do not collect identifiable information about you if you only browse our website

Use and disclosure:

• We only use personal information that you provide to us for the purposes you supplied it, for related purposes or for other reasons permitted under the Privacy Act 1993
• We do not share personal information with others unless this is necessary for the purpose for which it is provided or is required by law
• We may analyse non-identifiable web traffic data for statistical analysis

Your Rights and Choices:

• You have the right to access and correct or delete personal information held about you by DANZ under the Privacy Act 1993. To protect your privacy, and that of others, we may ask you to verify your identity in order to fulfil this request.
• You can ask to opt out of any DANZ services at any time
