DANCE EDUCATOR NETWORK - BOP DANCE

BOP Dance aims to support teachers, dance educators and students to grow and sustain dance in schools within the Bay of Plenty region. This happens in the following ways: Professional development workshops for teachers; Dance workshop opportunities for students; Performances/Festivals for students to share dance learning with a community audience. The BOP Dance committee is made up of a group of teachers who are passionate about dance education in New Zealand, We welcome and value everyone to the workshops and events that the committee organise.

DANCE SUBJECT ASSOCIATION

DANZ LEOTC

DANZ works with Primary and Secondary school students as part of a Learning Experiences Outside the Classroom (LEOTC) contract through the Ministry of Education. The contract supports regional dance work with a major focus on Northland. DANZ will be using a variety of tutors for this work.

PAZ ESCOBAR PALOMARES

Paz has been practicing contemporary dance for 12 years. Her education is of various european conservatories and dance centres (Scotland, France, Spain and Catalonia). She teaches creative dance for children and contemporary dance for adults and teens. Currently taking bookings for private contemporary classes, for adults and teenagers which will be held at the The Loft in Ellerslie. Paz is interested in multidisciplinary arts and currently working as a dancer in New Creation Production Group, a performance group with a combination of dance, live music and visual effects, she says "Dance is a beautiful free-form of expression and through it you can communicate the innermost sentiments".

WANGANUI COLLEGIATE SCHOOL BALLET ACADEMY
