The focus of Bounce is recreational and popular dance, dance for enjoyment and dance for health. Our mission is to support teachers and participants in recreational dance.
Bounce can help groups and teachers with
- Advice on managing a group or event or applying for funding,
- Information about performance opportunities and workshops,
- Contacts - putting you in touch with other dance groups and individuals.
The President of Bounce is Jacqui Cesan, the director of The Dance Studio and Boyzdance2. She has a keen interest in all kinds of dance and is very active in the community teaching, promoting and advocating for dancers. Other committee members are Briar Wilson, Rae Storey, Brian Jones, Susan Jordan. DANZ Tamaki supports with administration and event management.
Bounce invites dance groups to contact them for membership and networking. By working together dance will be stronger. Annual Membership is by joining DANZ. Let DANZ know you also want to be a member of Bounce. You receive all the benefits of DANZ membership as well as being part of Bounce.
