Course description |
The contemporary dance programme provides students with
the ability to perform and choreograph at a professional
level. As the largest and most established full time contemporary
dance course in New Zealand, the UNITEC dance programme
is now the major provider of professional dance and choreographic
talent to the industry.
Courses include Technique and Training, Choreography and
Performance, Body Knowledge & Movement Analysis, Culture
& Art and Issues & Research (a cross disciplinary
paper). Advanced technology with dance practice plays a
key part of the students learning. |
