Title of Institution New Zealand School of Dance
Course Description The New Zealand School of Dance trains students to excel nationally and internationally. It aims to prepare students to be future leaders and innovators in performance, choreography and all facets of dance.
Title of Qualification 1. Two year National Certificate in Dance Performance.
2. Three year National Diploma in Dance Performance.
* Contemporary and classical dance offered.
Duration of Qualification 1. Two years
2. Three years
Dance Pre-requisites Applicants who intend to specialise in classical ballet should have reached an Intermediate level. The panel will be looking for qualities such as commitment, aptitude for dance, performance qualities, potential for training, achievements to date, creativity.
Age at Entry Over 15 years of age.
Applications and Auditions Auditions are held in both New Zealand and Australia
